Welcome to young Europe!
Since 1994, every year we organise conferences, courses and events to promote European citizenship in Italy. Here, young people aged between 15 and 25 gather to exchange ideas, make international friendships and develop their vision of Europe.
WHO WE ARE
The Parlamento Europeo Giovani (EYP Italy) is the Italian branch of the European Youth Parliament. We have been organising conferences, training courses and events for high school and university students since 1994. Every year we organize a series of meetings, different in size, place and structure.
Through an interactive process and simulating the procedure of the European Parliament, participants engage in active citizenship, improve their social skills and form their own opinions on European politics.
OUR MISSION
The goal of the European Youth Parliament Italy is to train a generation of informed, open, responsible citizens and give them the tools to lead changes in society.

Our vision is that of a democratic, peaceful, sustainable and open society, where every young person is informed and has the opportunity to play an active role in society.
HELP US CREATE THE EUROPE OF THE FUTURE
The European Youth Parliament is a non-profit association, which carries out its activities thanks to the commitment of volunteers and donations from public and private bodies.
Any help, even the smallest, is welcome and represents an opportunity to continue offering quality events to students from all over Italy.

"I am particularly honored to be a patron of the European Youth Parliament. When I proposed the European Green Deal in my political guidelines, I was inspired precisely by young people like you. This is your generation's moment. And we're all acting for the future of our European Union!"
URSULA VON DER LEYEN, President of the European Commission
Message to the participants of the Milan International Session, May 2021
WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT OUR EVENTS
Our events bring together young people from all over Europe in a dialogue on European politics that transcends national borders. The goal is to stimulate personal development of the participants and intercultural understanding.

Our activities are focused on competence rather than competition. We place more value on young people's motivation and personal development than on their current level of proficiency.
Our conferences consist of 3 main program elements and are complemented by cultural activities. European Youth Parliament Italy it is not just a simulation of the European Parliament debate, but an intense experience of new friendships, personal growth and cultural exploration.
As such, EYP is not just a conference network, but a large family of young Europeans.
TEAMBUILDING
Through a series of physical games and puzzles, participants quickly build trust in their fellow participants. The main purpose of teambuilding is to ensure that everyone feels comfortable expressing their opinion. It also aims to improve communication and committee work productivity.
COMMITTEE WORK
Participants acquire a solid understanding of the assigned topic, identify problems, solutions and collect data related to the topic. Collectively the committee members write a resolution, presenting their vision for resolving the issues at hand. The work of the committee focuses on the creation of shared solutions, reached by consensus and supported by sound arguments.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY
All committees present and debate their resolutions in a General Assembly. Participants have the opportunity to speak from the podium, to ask questions from the audience and finally to cast their vote on the proposals. The General Assembly usually takes place in an institutional venue and is followed by the Closing Ceremony with guest speakers.
