The resolutions of our delegates
What are resolutions?
Resolutions are documents written by the delegates participating in our events during Committee Work. Each committee focuses on a relevant topic of the European Union, to which actors and stakeholders have not yet found a solution. Delegates are encouraged to research their topics, highlighting critical aspects from a European point of view, and analysing the problem beyond national perspectives. During the event, delegates, with the help of chairpersons, discuss these problems within their Committees, and propose feasible and realistic solutions, contained in the final document that is the resolution. During the General Assembly, each Committee presents its resolution and debates other Committees in order to approve or make amendments to their resolutions, based on the model of the plenary sessions of the European Parliament.
Resolutions are the product of critical thought and creativity of our young participants, who are often high school students, and represent an example of strong active citizenship and deep interest for European affairs and decision-making processes of European Institutions.
