THE ASSOCIATION

PARLAMENTO EUROPEO GIOVANI - EYP ITALY

Parlamento Europeo Giovani - APS (European Youth Parliament Italy), founded in 1994, is an independent association, the Italian branch of the youth network European Youth Parliament, a network of 40 associations and more than 3,000 volunteers.
 
We promote the European dimension and identity in Italian secondary schools by giving students the opportunity to participate in an educational experience of parliamentary debates on issues of European and international interest.

We address young European citizens and encourage them to be aware of and respect other cultures and the unique characteristics of all EU Member States.

All activities are organised by young people, and it is the members themselves who shape the association. In fact, every year we organize an assembly to discuss the progress of the association together, and, every two years, to elect the National Board ("Consiglio Direttivo").
